Al Dhafra, 24th July, 2019 (WAM) — As part of the activities of the 19th session of the festival in Liwa City, Al Dhafra Region, the competitions of Liwa Dates Festival saw strong competition among summer fruit producers in the UAE.
The organizing committee of the festival crowned the winners of tar fruit basket, red fig and yellow fig competitions in the presence of Obaid Kalban Al Mazroui, Director of Planning and Projects Department of Festivals and Cultural and Heritage Events Management Committee. In the results of house fruits basket competition “Shelway Matar Saif Hamdan Al-Mansoori” won first place, “Ali Ateeq Muhammad Adshan Al-Hamli” second place and “Sayed Ateeq Muhammad Adshan Al-Hamli” third place.
In the yellow fig competition, first place was won by “Hareb Muhammad Khanem Fajr Al Hameli”, second place was “Awad Sayed Hamad Al Mazroui”, third place was “Nader Obaid Salem Murdad Al Qadri”, fourth place was “Hilal Qamis Sayed Awad, Al Murayib Al Murayiq” all Al Thanhani”.
