FUJAIRAH, 19th September, 2017 (WAM) – Fujairah e-Government, Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and Digital Government jointly launched the Digital Academy in Fujairah Emirate in the presence of Sheikh Engineer Mohammed Bin Sharq Bin Director Saif. General of Fujairah e-Government, and Acting Deputy Director General of Digital Government Department at Telecommunications Regulatory Authority His Excellency Engineer Mohammed Al Khamis. Today, the Fujairah e-Government and Communications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority held an opening ceremony in the first emirate of Fujairah in the presence of representatives of 34 local departments and 102 trainees of the academy program.
The Digital Academy was launched, a national initiative of the Communications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, in collaboration with Fujairah e-Government, with the aim of developing individuals with the necessary skills to enhance the UAE’s leadership in comprehensive digital transformation. .
Sheikh Engineer Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi said, “The launch of the Digital Academy initiative is in line with the UAE government’s national indicators of digital transformation and maintaining global leadership in all sectors. Human resources are one of the most important pillars our country will rely on, and the Academy is a new vision.” and is considered a pioneer education model of important technical buildings. By launching the Digital Academy, we aim to develop and develop the national workforce in modern and advanced technology fields.
