Emirates News Agency – “Knowledge Exchange” reviews achievements of Sheikh Zayed Institute for Innovation in Pediatric Surgery in Washington

DUBAI, 15th August, 2020 (WAM) — A panel of the Government Knowledge Transfer Office reviewed the quality and innovative development of the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Innovation in Pediatric Surgery in Washington over the past 14 years. Surgeries in pediatric specialties.

The Assistant Minister for Cabinet Affairs for Knowledge Transfer and Competitiveness, Hon Abdullah Nasser Loota, lauded the advanced scientific research and technological development that the institute has introduced to paediatrics through years of hard work and scientific, research and knowledge collaboration. The company has established a pioneering Emirati model in sharing experiences and exchanging knowledge to enhance its positive impact on the lives of communities, especially children.

Sheikh Zayed Institute for Development of Pediatric Surgery was established in 2009 with the aim of improving the lives of children.

The company has made significant achievements in the field of children’s health and has so far received 40 new patents in the field of medical innovations in pediatric treatment. The company has also completed 1,500 active clinical research projects and provided personalized care to 246,124 patients. cases in 2021.

The institute is one of the pioneer initiatives of the state, which includes numerous research centers, studies, educational grants and others in the field of health care in different countries of the world.
