Ajman, September 6, 2017 – His Excellency Engineer Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ajman Commerce and Industry and Member of the Executive Committee of Ajman Emirate, chaired the second consultative meeting organized by the Council. Opportunities for the growth and development of the economic sector, improving the attractiveness of investments in the emirate and developing recommendations for ease of doing business and diversifying tools to develop the business community in Ajman.
Abdullah Ahmad Al Hamrani, Director General of Economic Development Department in Ajman, Ajman Chamber Director General Prof Salem Al Suwaidi, Prof Ismail Abdul Salam Naqi, Director General attended the meeting held at Ajman Chamber Headquarters. Director General of Ajman Free Zones Authority, and Ajman Digital Department Dr. Ohood Ali Shuhail, Executive Director, Ajman Statistics Center, Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi and Fatima Ahmad Al Suwaidi, Director, Policy and Strategic Management Department at the Executive Council – Ajman.
In this meeting, efforts were discussed to strengthen the partnership between the public and private sectors and coordinate efforts in the implementation of various projects that contribute to the achievement of the UAE’s goals in industry, services, tourism, education, health and other sectors. Roles of inter-governmental agencies concerned with economic affairs in the UAE in the development of direct investments.
The participants were briefed on the comprehensive report issued by the Department of Economic Development along with the Business Monitoring and Competitiveness Survey of Ajman Emirate and the results of the survey, along with the Consumer Confidence Report and the Best Award for Economic Enterprises. Ajman is “the best”.
His Excellency Abdullah Al Muwaiji stressed the importance of economic studies and reports and their role in enhancing the quality of services and facilitating the launch of quality government initiatives that support the Emirate’s guidelines. He also appreciated the efforts of the local bodies in providing digital infrastructure. Contributes directly to facilitating the customer journey and enhancing the competitiveness and attractiveness of the economic and investment sector in the Emirate.
Al Muwaiji hailed the results of the meeting as an excellent platform to coordinate efforts and cooperation among officials of government agencies to discuss the reality of the local economy and make recommendations to improve the quality of government services provided to companies and individuals in general. To achieve the development plan of the Emirate and its goals.
