Emirates News Agency – France beat Netherlands and Belgium beat Sweden in Euro 2024 qualifiers

Capitals, March 25 / WAM / The French national football team began their career in the qualifiers for the upcoming European Cup of Nations (Euro 2024) with a resounding 4-0 victory over their Dutch rival in the opening of the second group today, Friday. Qualifiers witnessed victory for the Greece national team today, beating Gibraltar 3-0.
A few weeks after losing on penalties against Argentina national team in the 2022 World Cup finals at the “Stade de France” stadium in the French capital Paris, the French national team has regained its victory.
With Antoine Griezmann, Dayot Obamecano and Kylian Mbappe scoring three goals in the 3rd, 8th and 22nd minutes, the French national team dominated the match in their first half.
The team added a fourth goal in the second half, with Mbappe signing in the 88th minute.
In the group six, the famous Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku relived the memory of scoring with his country and scored 3 goals (a hat trick) as the team won 3-0 against its Swedish host in the group six, which was witnessed by Austria. Today they beat Azerbaijan 4-1.
In other qualifiers today, Czech Republic beat Poland 3-1, Faroe Islands beat Moldova 1-1, Serbia beat Lithuania 2-0 and Montenegro beat Bulgaria 1-0 in Group G.
