Dubai, 12 April / WAM / Dubai Chamber of Commerce’s Center for Business Ethics has released its Chamber of Social Responsibility Report 2021, which reviews its most important achievements in the field of corporate social responsibility, sustainability and accountability practices.
The report focuses on the achievements of the Chamber in corporate social responsibility in four areas: community, environment, workplace and labor market.
In the community sector, the Center organized 37 community initiatives, facilitated 92 volunteer projects, provided more than 70,000 volunteer hours, benefiting 60,000 users, while the Chamber organized a sustainability week in which 50,000 participants represented more than 50 organizations.
In the field of environment, the Chamber followed the best environmental practices adopted at Green Chamber headquarters and organized nine environmental campaigns for its staff.
In the workplace sector, the Chamber has organized 24 awareness and training campaigns on the well-being, hygiene, safety and sustainability of the workplace for its employees and provided them with free health check-ups.
In the labor market sector, Chamber has improved the customer experience and their enjoyment, enriching their experience of digital transformation of basic services and doing business, topping the field of customer happiness. The Dubai Government’s Customer Happiness Index for 2021.
The report includes quotes from representatives of the private sector in Dubai, in which they spoke about the most important achievements of their companies and the consistent and responsible practices used in their companies, the greenest achievements they have made in the past year.
The Dubai Chamber Sustainability Network saw steady growth in the number of its members by 2021, reaching 69 members, while the Dubai Chamber respects and appreciates the responsible and consistent practices of CSR brand companies, receiving more than 100 applications after the launch of the new Smart. A digital brand that encompasses the workplace, market and community and the environment.
