ABU DHABI, 27 October / WAM / Sheikh Diab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Head of the Office of Development Affairs and Martyrs’ Families in the Office of the President, attended the graduation ceremony of the High Technical Colleges for Today’s Leaders. The graduation ceremony was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emirates and President of the College of Higher Technology Campus. -Ayyan, Director of Higher Technical College Campus, Dr. Aisha Abu Shalibi, Executive Director of Abu Dhabi Technical Colleges, Dr. Shawki Garbash, Executive Director of Higher Technical Colleges, Technology – Al Ain, and Engineer Abdul Rahman Al Jahooshi, Director of Technical Colleges – Al Dhafra, and Many dignitaries, officers, members of administrative and teaching bodies and parents of graduating students.
The ceremony began with the National Anthem, and a video titled “We Are the Achievers” was shown, reflecting on the advanced academic environment of the colleges, their special programs and the quality of their applied outcomes.
Afterwards, His Excellency Dr. Faisal Al-Ayyan, Director of the Higher Technical College campus, in his address on behalf of the Colleges’ Board of Trustees, expressed deep gratitude and thanks to Sheikh Mohammed for his wise leadership. Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Head of State, “may God protect him”, for continued support for the advancement of the colleges, which will enhance its role in preparing national skills for future aspirations and ambitions.
He emphasized the development of colleges according to the needs of each stage, improving their leadership in applied education and achieving quality results in line with changes in the labor market. The strategy of colleges “We are the creators of the future 2023-2028” depends on the comprehensiveness and integration, which in light of a professional partnership with the public and private employment sectors, helps the applied bachelor degree and professional diploma holders to prepare the workforce of the future. Improves job opportunities for graduates and makes them the first choice for the labor market.
Later, Dr. Al-Ayyan, on behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Technical Colleges, announced the graduation of (899) male and female graduates from the Higher Technical Colleges in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
