DUBAI, September 12 / WAM / UAE rower Hamad Saeed Al Madrushi will compete in the singles events of the 19th Asian Games for the first time. Period from September 20 to October 8.

Al Madrushi expressed his desire to participate successfully in the upcoming Asian event and repeated the Asian record when he won the bronze medal for the first time with his teammate Khamis Khanem Al Shamsi at the Asian Coastal Rowing Championships in Thailand last March.

It is noteworthy that Al Madrushi achieved many achievements including first place in the 500m double race at the 2017 International Arab Modern Rowing Championship in Tunisia and a gold medal in the first edition of the Gulf Rowing Championship. The victories at the Emirates Modern Rowing Championship, organized by the Emirates Rowing and Rowing Federation, are the talk of the season with Al-Hamriya Club at the top of the summit.
