Tokyo, June 11, WAM/ HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met UAE students studying in Japan as part of his working visit to Tokyo.
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the educational paths of the students and the most important majors they study and the future job requirements and their relevance to the country’s labor market needs.
He emphasized that the government will spare no effort to provide all kinds of care and support to the students to achieve their ambitions and aspirations.
He appreciated their diligence, perseverance and passion for excellence during their educational journey, leading them to return home to participate with their brothers and sisters in the development process of the country in various fields.
In his address, he told his students that they are ambassadors of their country abroad, embodying the values, customs and traditions of the UAE community and conveying the message of the country’s culture, identity and civilization to the entire world.
Within the activities of the meeting; 4 dialogue sessions were held with students, including HE Saeed Al-Hajri, Assistant Minister of State for Economic and Commercial Affairs HE Omran Sharaf, Assistant Minister of State for Science and Advanced Technology, HE Dr. Maha Barakat, Asst. Minister of State for Health Affairs and UAE Ambassador to Japan Shihab Ahmed Al-Bahim spoke.
The dialogue sessions touched on a number of topics, including the strategic relationship between the UAE and Japan and the UAE’s development efforts and initiatives in various sectors.
UAE students in Japan expressed their happiness and pride in meeting Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who stressed that the meeting includes the continuous care and follow-up experienced by UAE nationals studying abroad to ensure they achieve the highest practical scores.
