Sharjah, 25th July, 2019 (WAM) — Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee H.H. In the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sharjah Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Vice President of Sharjah and Vice President of Sharjah, Sharjah this morning “Day,” Sharjah Administrative Council meeting was held at the Office of the Ruler.
The meeting discussed topics on its agenda related to government work matters, pursuit of social needs and jobs to meet them to provide a dignified life to the citizens and residents of Sharjah.
In order to support the Emirati family with adequate housing, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah His Highness Sheikh Dr. In pursuance of the orders of Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, a.d. The Council approved the second batch of beneficiaries for housing benefit with a total of 414 million beneficiaries with 548 million beneficiaries by 2023.
This charge includes all types of loans and grants in all cities and regions of Sharjah, and its purposes are distributed among new construction, completion, additions and maintenance and acquisition of government housing.
The Council also approved the second batch of the list of those exempted from repaying housing loans and the change to the subsidy category, bringing the total amount of those exempted within two installments for this year to 34 million dirhams.
Since the establishment of the Sharjah Housing Project, the total housing benefit is 10 billion and 18 million dirhams, benefiting 11,503 beneficiaries.
The Council reviewed the outcome report of the Itcon project to review and evaluate the quality and capabilities of private schools in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The report covers the stages of implementation of the evaluation covering all private schools in the emirate through 6 criteria comprising 17 indicators and 70 elements.
