Emirates Airlines announced the establishment of a new advanced pilot training center at a cost of $135 million (about 495.7 million dirhams).

As part of the training module, trainee pilots will benefit from the ability to set up and configure the cockpit environment using dedicated hardware and upload data to a fully functional simulator before starting their respective training.

The addition of the new building to Emirates Airlines’ existing training facilities in Dubai will expand pilot training capacity by 54% annually. Emirates pilots will have more flexibility to improve their flying skills with 17 fully functional simulated flight devices capable of providing more than 130,000 hours of training annually across all facilities.
The new Emirates Airline Center will begin training the first batch of pilots to fly the Airbus A350 by June 2024.
