The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) continues to prepare to organize the Dubai Fingerprint Biennale, which will begin in early October, with the aim of showcasing the importance of this art form and as an aesthetic tool. With the support and participation of over 200 local and international artists and creators, Dubai Culture, organized by the Dubai Calligraphy Biennale, seeks to support the city’s creative scene by highlighting calligraphic arts from various cultures. Executive Director of Dubai Culture Department of Arts and Literature Dr. Sayyid Mubarak bin Karbash stressed the importance of calligraphy as a part of Arab and international culture, pointing out the authority’s interest in highlighting calligraphy and its various concepts.
