The Dubai Supreme Crisis and Disaster Management Committee has updated the precautionary measures for events and activities on a trial basis for a period of one month from Monday 17 May.

Capacity increase

Restaurants can accommodate up to ten people at a table and hotels are 100% efficient.

Rules regarding events, events and weddings have been relaxed in Dubai, but guests and staff must be vaccinated.

Home weddings and private receptions can accommodate up to 30 people, while hotels can have up to 100 private receptions.

Up to 1,500 participants and staff will be vaccinated at indoor events and up to 2,500 outside.

Bars will be allowed to reopen if all customers and staff are vaccinated.

There are several announcements in the update: starting with the reminder that social distance is two meters and wearing a mask is mandatory.
