DiyaThe seventh edition of Misk Global Forum 2023, one of the world’s largest youth platforms, was launched today Wednesday at Mount Al-Bujairi, Daria, with the participation of young leaders, innovators and thinkers from around the world. The forum aims to identify the potentials of the youth, empower them and develop their skills towards knowledge-based economic development as a fundamental pillar for the future.
The forum, in which Tiria Gate Development Authority participates as a strategic partner, will host more than 100 dialogue sessions, featuring more than 120 male and female speakers, their dignitaries and highnesses, and several presidents and CEOs, on topics such as climate change, sustainability, innovation and leadership, and educational transformation. Discuss about. , digital innovation and technology, sport and games, mental health, diversity and cultural identity, promoting knowledge and creating connections between ambitious youth, leaders, innovators and creators.
Along with this forum there are 13 interactive spaces and key activities at Al-Bujairi Matal, which cater to the diverse needs of the youth community. Theater enriches innovative and creative concepts and ideas, and gives speakers the opportunity to inspire and uplift audiences by providing inspiring experiences that reflect the recognition of different perspectives that encourage new and unique beginnings.
The Forum will also host a Leaders’ Divan space, which will give participants an opportunity to benefit from the experiences of leaders and leading figures in various fields, apart from the Council space, which will connect youth with local and international thinkers and creators. More than 50 innovative interactive workshops through the Skill Shop will bring together youth with the Forum’s most important partners and international and local organizations. In addition to Oasis offering health support and meditation exercises, the aim is to highlight the most important skills needed in today’s business world and provide the youth community with various resources to support their professional skills.
CEO of Thiria Gate Development Authority Mr. Jerry Incerillo participated in a conversation session titled “From Brooklyn to Al Bujairi.” Then, as the head of the working group of the Diya project, he talked about how to change it. Leveraging its experiences from the world’s leading tourist destination, the American city of Brooklyn, it has traversed different countries in the hospitality industry and maintained the highest standards of hospitality to achieve the goals of the Driya project. Inzerillo also discussed the challenges and promising opportunities of the tourism sector in the Kingdom and the importance of preserving the historical and cultural heritage of more than 600 years and its work to develop and inspire the youth in various fields.

Dariya is an important national symbol in the history of Saudi Arabia, as its reference is linked to the first Saudi state founded in 1727 AD by Imam Muhammad bin Saud, who made Dariya the first capital of the government and a scientific and social center.
