Everyone has favorite foods that they crave on a constant basis, and there are people who love sweets, chips or fried foods.
Some of our favorite foods are healthier than others, and some are not at all healthy and fall under the category of foods that are extremely harmful due to their ingredients, according to a list published by the “What’s Not That” website.
White bread
The most important of these foods is bread made from bleached white flour because it contains bleaching chemicals such as azodicarbonamide, which is used to thin the bread dough.
Experts have noted that there is evidence that azodicarbonamide breaks down into a chemical called urethane during the baking process.

Fruit juice with added sugar
Sugar-enhanced juice is considered unhealthy because it contains added sugars, fiber-free fruit, and high-fructose corn syrup.
Most of the sweetness in the smoothie comes from fructose, a type of sugar associated with the development of visceral adipose tissue in overweight people.
Diet soft drinks
In addition, diet sodas are also considered unhealthy because they contain the artificial sweetener aspartame, which was originally developed to aid weight loss but was recently found to have the opposite effect.
Its side effects include raising glucose levels, overloading the liver, and being converted to excess fat, according to a study in Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism.
Studies have also found that aspartame is associated with an increased risk of cancer.
Fried foods
In parallel, fried foods are considered unhealthy, such as fried chicken.
Besides their extremely high fat and calorie content, the main problem with these fried foods is that they contain high levels of inflammatory advanced glycation end products, or AGEs.
These compounds form when animal-derived products are cooked at high temperatures for long periods of time.
Pork and sausage
In the same context, processed meats including pork and sausage are completely unhealthy foods.
For example, they are usually made with red meat, which is high in saturated fat.
While red meat alone isn’t bad for you, processed red meat contains high levels of sodium and additives like nitrates and nitrites.
Research also shows that nitrites can lead to certain types of cancer, and Meat Science says that these additives turn into cancer-causing nitrosamines when exposed to high heat.
