Dollar price in Iraq today, August 28, 2021 .. “Neighboring” dinar revives

Along with the neighboring summit in Baghdad, the Iraqi dinar rose against the dollar in banking trading today.

The Iraqi government hopes that the neighboring summit, which began in Baghdad today, will contribute to its decision to support the Iraqi economy, which has been hit hard by a number of crises.

The summit, for the first time in more than 20 years, comes in light of Baghdad’s pursuit of economic integration with its neighbors.

Local media reported that the average price of the dollar was 1463.63 dinars and 1463.91 dinars for sale at exchange offices and local markets in the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

The average price of the dollar in Iraq varies between 10 and 20 dinars between the Kifa Stock Exchange (Baghdad Stock Exchange) and the rest of the province, up or down.

The Central Bank of Iraq decided before revising the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar because the purchase price of the dollar from the Ministry of Finance was 1450 dinars.

As for the selling price of the dollar to the banks, it was fixed at 1460 dinars per dollar, while it was set at 1470 dinars per dollar per citizen.

In mid-August, the finance committee of the Iraqi parliament decided to keep the exchange rate at its current level.

According to Iraq’s official news agency, group member Naji al-Sayedi said, “The real value of the Iranian dinar will be determined by the exchange rate of the dollar against the dollar, so the exchange rate will be over the next five years.

“The devaluation of the dinar has increased the competitiveness of Iraqi prices, based on which foreign goods benefit from the strength of the Iraqi dinar against the dollar because the dollar is the global currency, and whenever the exchange rate of the dollar rises, the competitiveness of commodities rises and falls because Iraqi exports are lower.
