Legendary Entertainment, the producer of the Oscar-winning film “Dion”, has confirmed it will return to Abu Dhabi later this year to shoot the second part of the film, in director Denis Villeneuve’s masterpiece based on the best-selling novel by Frank Herbert.
Produced by Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros, the epic adventure film will be shot later this year in the dunes of the Liwa Desert with a diverse crew of local and international talent, and the artwork will be a boon. A 30% cashback on production costs will be provided by the Abu Dhabi Film Commission, while Epic Films will provide production services and support a number of production partners in the UAE.
