The Romanian coach has led Dean since August 2021
Roman Cosmin Contra revealed; The coach of the Saudi Al-Etihad club, through his message to the club’s fans about whether or not he will be with Dean next season.
The title escapes the Brigadier General:
Al-Ittihad, led by Romanian coach, topped the league table of Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional League last season, several months apart, several points from al-Hilal.

Contra wrote on her official social networking site “Twitter”: “Hello Al-Etihad fans: First I want to apologize to you, because we did our best, I humbled you at the last moment, but we did not live up to your pride.”
He added: “The big champions also get up quickly from difficult defeats and learn from their mistakes. Next season we will return strong and reach the title you have been waiting for so long. Thank you for your support next season. Season.”
What did Contra offer with the Brigadier General?
The 46-year-old Romanian took over as Dean’s technical responsibility in August 2021, and his contract expired at the end of last season, but his renewal seems to be nearing completion.
Under Contra’s supervision, al-Ittihad played 29 matches, winning 19, drawing five and losing the other five.
In addition to losing the local league title, he defeated Al-Fayha in the semifinals with al-Ameet al-Romani with a clean slate and bid farewell to the defender of the two Holy Mosques Cup.
