The opening ceremony of the 43rd Cairo Film Festival on Friday evening was attended by a large number of art stars and filmmakers.

As for the Golden Pyramid Award for Lifetime Achievement won by the best artist Nellie, it was given by the best artist Samir Sabri, who restored many memories that Nellie had collected in her life.
The 43rd Cairo International Film Festival, which kicks off on Friday, will run until December 5.
