“CEO Middle East” recognizes Ahmed bin Shafar, CEO of Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (EmPower), for the third time as CEO of the Energy Sector 2023, for his role in advancing cooling. The sector in the Middle East region and his management principles have led to his “authority”, for his global reputation, in addition to his solid contributions and efforts with the Foundation’s working groups in implementing country strategies to achieve sustainable development.
This was announced during the CEO Awards for the Middle East organized by IDB Publishing at the Jumeirah Mina A Salam Hotel in Dubai recently. Ibn Shafar’s achievement of that title is considered a milestone added to his record of achievements. This title is considered one of the most prestigious regional awards in the field in the region.
Ahmad Bin Shafar said: Achieving the title and receiving global and international acclaim for the achievements of the Foundation and its working groups would not have been possible without the sound and inspiring vision of the Vice Chairman, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, urges Dubai to become a beacon of the world in the energy sector, sustainability, natural resources and environmental protection, and emission reduction, regional and global acclaim. “Empower” and its working groups are yet another engine that connects to the engines of innovation, growth and prosperity in the district cooling industry, wherein the Corporation has cemented its position as a world leader in years to come, God forbid.
