The best performers of the session were The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: ), which rose 6.91% or 5.84 points to trade at 90.34. Rather, stocks Boeing Co (NYSE: ) traded up 0.78% or 1.50 points to end at 193.33 while UnitedHealth Group Inc . (NYSE: ) added 0.42% or 2.27 points to 539.00.

On weak performance at the close of today’s trade, Amgen (NASDAQ: ) shares declined 3.37% or 9.20 points to trade at 264.06 at the close. Home Depot Inc (NYSE: ) declined 2.72% or 8.05 points to 287.87 while Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc (NASDAQ: ) declined 2.62% or 0.55 points to 20.45.

On the other hand, the best performing stocks in the S&P 500 index were recorded. Transdigm Group Inc (NYSE: ), soared 8.70% to 973.07, The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: ) also rose 6.91% to close at 90.34 levels, while shares of Tapestry Inc (NYSE: ) rose about 2.95%. and ended its trade at a price of 28.27.

Among the weakest performing stocks today, Becton Dickinson & Co. (NYSE: ) shares fell 9.25% to close the session at 232.24. Cordeva Inc (NYSE: ), which lost 8.45% to 44.51, and Axon Enterprise Inc (NASDAQ: ), which lost 6.05% to 215.70, ended the session today.

On the other hand, the best performer on the Nasdaq index was Intelligent Bio Solutions Inc (NASDAQ: ), which rose 92.51% at the price of 0.44. It closed at 1.38 levels, and Janone Inc (NASDAQ:) stock rose 65.42% to trade at 0.53.

Among the weakest performing stocks today, we mention the company’s stock Atara Biotherapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: ), which tumbled 80.17% to close its session at 0.24. Davis products Ltd. (NASDAQ: ), which lost 70.83% to 2.03 and Ekena Oncology (NASDAQ: ), which lost 67.80% to close at 1.33 in the stock market today.

The number of stocks that declined outnumbered those that closed higher in trading on the New York Stock Exchange, with 2127 compared to 789, unchanged at 51. In terms of NASDAQ stock market, 2531 stocks declined, 922 stocks strengthened their position, while 107 stocks maintained their value.

Transdigm Group Inc (NYSE: )’s stock hit an all-time high, adding 8.70% or 77.86 points to trade at 973.07. Corteva Inc (NYSE: ) lost 8.45% or 4.11 points to its 52-week low at 44.51. Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc (NASDAQ: ) traded down 2.62% or 0.55 points to trade at a record low of 20.45. Shares of Atara Biotherapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: ) plunged to new record lows, declining 80.17% or 0.97 points to trade at 0.24. Davies Commodities Limited (NASDAQ: )’s stock declined 70.83% or 4.93 points to hit an all-time low of 2.03. Ikena Oncology (NASDAQ: ) fell to an all-time low of 67.80% or 2.80 points to trade at 1.33.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.29%, or 5.65, to settle at $1,963.45 an ounce. In other commodities trading, WTI crude oil futures for December delivery rose 0.25% or 0.19 to settle at $75.52 a barrel, while the January contract for Brent oil futures was up 0.39% or 0.31 points. and closed at $79.85 per barrel.

The EUR/USD pair maintained stability at 0.37% and traded at 1.07 levels, while the USD/JPY pair gained 0.26% to reach 151.35 levels.

Dollar index contracts traded up 0.31% at 105.78.
