  • Rescue equipment is available

What risks does the climber face?

  • Forgetting some necessary equipment

  • Climbing equipment has not been checked or some equipment has expired

  • Improper use of equipment

The experience of a diver is not without challenges, especially dealing with the difficulty of the tracks, suffering from air pressure, encountering reptiles and depletion of team member energy due to fatigue.

Depending on the sites a diver chooses during his various experiences, he is usually eager to avoid places where rocks fall, and attract adventurers.

So, what are some of the best places for Omani adventurers?

Jabal Samhan

This is a diver’s favorite site, where he learned to climb mountains and how to use equipment.

It is one of the highest mountains in the Arabian Peninsula, especially in the Tohr region south of the Sultanate of Oman.

According to the Omani Ministry of Tourism, Jabal Samhan’s highest peak is about 2,100 meters above sea level, and includes a group of plains separated from each other by thin and deep corridors, some of which reach a depth of 1,000 meters.

வாடி தர்பத்

It is a nature park with valleys, waterfalls, lakes, mountains and caves. It is characterized by wildlife and lush greenery.

Wadi Darbat Falls is considered by one divers to be one of his favorite destinations, with stunning views all around it as he jumps 100 meters away from the falls.

Majlis al-Jin Cave

Majlis al-Jin Cave is one of the largest underground caves in the world.

Despite the large size of the Majlis al-Jinn cave, it is difficult to find it from the outside, especially since there are only three holes that seem insignificant to onlookers.

Gavas aims to promote tourism in the Sultanate of Oman through its social media posts and become one of the most important tourist destinations by 2040.
