EPIC, a photo editing app using artificial intelligence techniques, has gained immense popularity, becoming the most downloaded app on the App Store. The application allows users to create their own “photo album” inspired by the atmosphere of the nineties of the twentieth century. Like other recently popular apps, Epic works by letting users upload a series of selfies, which the app then uses to create a photo album that presents users with different looks and different hairstyles and styles.
Notably, New York-based Snow Corporation developed the IPIC application. In recent weeks, Epic has been a huge hit on the App Store as it has become the most downloaded app on the store that works with Apple smart devices like iPhones and iPad tablets. On the other hand, the app is ranked 37th on the Play Store online store for devices powered by Android platform.
According to data from market research firm Apptopia, Epic has been downloaded 92.3 million times since its launch in August 2021, including 4.7 million times in the United States.
However, the app began to gain widespread popularity on September 19, and its massive spread continued over the next ten days. TechCrunch, a website specializing in technology topics, noted that India is the largest market for the Epic application, with the United States ranked sixth for the application.
According to market research firm Data.ai, the application has been downloaded 82 million times and the application has generated $7 million in revenue. US, according to data from Data.ai.
