Advance devices Apple Health insights are coming soon in its various guises, and Bloomberg sources say Apple is developing an AI-based health coach called Quartz to create personalized plans for exercise, diet and sleep based on Apple Watch data. Quoted in Engadget in 2024.
Recently, the Health app has become more useful, and insiders say that Apple is finally bringing health to the iPad with the release of iPadOS 17 this year, and an additional update will help you track your mood by answering questions about your day. And you can use Health to manage vision problems like nearsightedness.
A recent rumor also suggested that Apple might release a journaling app that would help you document your days like day one, and Apple declined to actually comment.
If the allegations are accurate, you’ll hear about everyone but the trainer at WWDC next June fifth, and the company is expected to unveil its long-awaited mixed reality headset at a developer event, and rumors suggest the wearable. While the device may offer health-related features like a VR version of Fitness+ and a meditation tool, the initial product will be aimed at developers and power users, but an affordable follow-up is believed to be in the works.
Apple still relies heavily on services to improve its bottom line, and Quartz may be attractive to those who pay a human trainer to rethink their habits. Apple has already made health a key selling point for its devices, particularly the Apple Watch.
Of course, a trainer can further empower Apple users, and if you have to ditch your watch and your digital trainer at the same time, you may be less likely to switch to Android.
