On Tuesday, the Yemeni “Ansar Allah” group announced that it had shot down a plane belonging to the United Arab Emirates Air Force for the second time in a week.
Ansar Allah’s military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said on his Twitter page: This morning’s operations in the Directorate’s airspace, Ain in Shabwa Governorate, indicate that the process of shooting down the aircraft was carried out by an aerial missile from a locally made surface.
Thank God Shabwa Governorate was able to shoot down an armed spy plane (Wing Long 2) made in China owned by the United Arab Emirates Air Force while our air defense forces were conducting hostile operations in the airspace of Ain District this morning.
