Announcing the formation of the Board of Directors of “Sharjah Business Women”

The Sharjah Business Women’s Council, headed by Sheikh Hind Bint Majid Al Qasimi, has announced the formation of a Board of Directors with members of the elite group of women entrepreneurs to express pioneering projects in the field of expertise, including expressing the work of members. Every member said that the project aims to help business women and adhere to the vision and mission of the Sharjah Business Women’s Council. The Chairman of the Board appoints the appropriate committee to implement the selected and approved project under the supervision and guidance of the approved Board Member.

The new board will include Nada al-Lawati, a board member for technology, Olympia Tabash, a board member for perfumes and cosmetics, Nawal al-Nuaimi, a board member for food programs, and Amna al-Shara, a board member. Dr. Shada Alai, Advisor to the Board of Trade and Real Estate, and all Board of Directors and Shorouk Al Midfa, Member of the Board of Directors for the Jewelry and Fashion Sector.

The decision to set up a board of directors requires members to formulate strategies to improve the sector, to qualify business women to enter the labor market, and to hold monthly meetings with the chair of the board to inform her of the latest developments. It is necessary to represent the Sharjah Business Women’s Council in all official functions, and on the recommendation of the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Sheikh Hind Bint Majid Al Qasimi said: We rely on the elite group of successful female entrepreneurs who consider women in the development of the community and in managing various business sectors, keeping them in their position. We firmly believe in their ability to make qualitative and rapid changes in the comprehensive development process witnessed by the Emirate of Sharjah and to achieve the aspirations of Sheikh Jawahar bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, the wife of the President of Sharjah, Sharjah.
