An Emirati aid ship carrying 4,016 tons of humanitarian supplies arrived in Al-Arish in preparation for entering Gaza. This is part of the UAE’s “Galant Knight 3” humanitarian operation to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip.
The ship’s arrival was witnessed by Sultan Muhammad Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister for International Cooperation for Foreign Affairs and Development Affairs and International Organizations, UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Emirates Red Secretary General Maryam Khalifa Al Gabi. For his part, Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri said: This relief aid confirms the UAE’s continuous efforts to provide relief to Palestinian brothers affected by the war in the Gaza Strip and to support development efforts and projects.
He stressed that the UAE has achieved many successes and gains for affected sectors and groups, to the point where it has become one of the most important donors of humanitarian and development aid in the world.
The total UAE aid provided to the brotherly Palestinian people in the “Gallant Night 3” operation prior to December 15 was more than 7,523 tons of aid, while the total number of aircraft in the UAE airlift reached 111 aircraft and more than 63 trucks.
The UAE’s commitment includes the values of solidarity and cooperation with the brotherly Palestinian people, based on a long history of relief and humanitarian work during which the UAE was keen to provide all possible support.
