After New York, London and Milan, Paris Fashion Week begins on Monday afternoon and, as usual, on its first day, highlights the innovations of youth.

Belgium’s Marie Adam-Lehnert kicks off Women’s Ready-to-Wear Fashion Week, which ends on October 3rd.

The fashion designer, who will be officially participating in the event for the first time, said on his website, “It is not about creating pieces for a particular season, but about creating surprises, evoking emotions and presenting designs. It transcends time and generations.”

Among the names presenting fashion shows on Monday was Victor Vincento, a dancer who studied under Jean Paul Gaultier and will launch his own brand in 2020. These designer dresses give a special cabaret feel. Disclosure.

Pierre Cardin, led by Rodrigo Basilicati-Cardin, the designer’s nephew, has not returned to the official program of Paris Fashion Week for more than two decades. On Monday evening, the house will host a fashion show in light of the controversy over who will succeed the deceased fashion designer in 2020.

The house does not employ a fashion coordinator, while the tailoring of the collections overseen by Rodrigo Basilicati-Gardin is carried out by companies that have long collaborated with the house.

Paris Fashion Week will see 67 fashion shows and around forty events in the official program.

As for Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing, he was participating in Paris Fashion Week when fifty of his pieces were stolen by gunmen.

While no details are known about the fate of these designs, the French public prosecutor has announced the opening of an investigation into the incident.

The “Balmain” show will take place on Wednesday at six GMT, while the crew is working on re-stitching the stolen pieces of “Day and Night”.
