“Al-Hilal” celebrates Eid al-Adha with orphans and cancer patients in Latakia

The Emirates Red Cross organized a special celebration on the second day of Eid Al-Adha as part of Operation “The Gallant Night 2” launched by the Ministry of Defence’s Joint Operations Command. Nearly 100 children of orphans and cancer patients in the Syrian governorate of Latakia. It was at the sports hall in the “Orange Mall” commercial center in the Governorate.

This humanitarian initiative was established in collaboration with the “Syrian Arab Red Crescent” within the framework of the Emirates’ continuous humanitarian and relief efforts to alleviate the suffering of affected families after the last February 6 earthquake. The head of delegation of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority in Syria, Muhammad Qamis Al Gabi, said that this humanitarian initiative aims to share the joy of the holiday with orphans and children suffering from cancer, spreading joy and happiness among them.
