Ajman police arrested three suspects of Arab origin for stealing gold jewellery

Ajman police announced the arrest of 3 Arabs, 12 hours after they allegedly stole gold jewelery from the emirate’s gold market.

“Al-Bayan” reported that Lt. Col. Ahmad Saeed Al-Nuaimi, Director of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department of Ajman Police, received a report from the operations room that gold jewelry was stolen from a gold shop. A cash sum of one million and one hundred thousand dirhams and forty thousand dirhams.

On in-person inspection of the shop, the owner of the shop was negligent in not activating the alarm bell connected to the central operation room, resulting in delay in seizure. From the Crime Investigation and Intelligence Department, which was immediately formed, through research and investigation to identify the culprits, it was found that they had committed various deceptions and betrayals.

With the efforts and skill of the detectives and investigators, the location of the first suspect was traced to the Emirate of Sharjah, and in coordination with the Sharjah Police, he was arrested and called (AG), an Arab, and the second suspect. Arrested in Rumaila area in Ajman Emirate and is known as (DD) as an Arab, then the third accused was arrested in New Industrial Area in Ajman Emirate and is also known as (S.A.). Arab, who planned and led the robbery.

When asked about the incident, one of them claimed to have distributed the stolen items to them, misleading the police and dispersed after the theft, all the stolen items were assessed as one. Million, one hundred and forty thousand dirhams were recovered.

The Director of Investigation and Criminal Investigation Department of Ajman Police praised the experience, technique and skill of the investigators and their speedy procedures in search and investigation.
