The singer of “Qatni Habibi” affirmed on stage at the University of Notre Dame, which saw the return of Al-Rumi after several years of absence, that his country “is still a beacon of the Arab East. A pioneer in all fields, every inch of Lebanon celebrates life despite everything.”
“Lebanon is eternal and has time to regain its independent end, until then the banners of culture, art, media and science must flutter despite its sovereignty and lack of independence,” expressed the “symbol of Arab song”.
And with his masterpiece “Summer Nights in Your Eyes” and cheers from the audience, Majid al-Rumi entered his concert, the proceeds of which will help students secure university education.
