The Royal Palace of Norway has announced the engagement of Princess Martha Louise, daughter of King Harold V of Norway, to her American lover, Derek Verd.
The 50-year-old princess, who is fourth on the Norwegian throne, is paired with 47-year-old Ferrit. Norwegian media have reported that the Norwegian princess’ fianc describes himself as a healer and a popular spiritual medium among Hollywood stars.
In a statement issued by the royal family, King Harold V of Norway and his wife Queen Sonja announced the engagement of their daughter Princess Martha Louise, and said “the fiancs wish the future well”.
Princess Märtha Louise married writer Ari Michael Behne in 2002 and had three daughters with her before divorcing in 2016. According to Norwegian media, Ms Louis is planning to move to California with her fianc and daughters.
