The Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, on Monday revealed new developments regarding the transfer of Argentine star Lionel Messi to the Paris Saint-Germain club.
The newspaper said Messi had received a copy of his contract with Paris on Sunday, but the former Barcelona captain was still at his home in Barcelona when he reconsidered the terms of his contract with the Parisian club.
The Spanish newspaper pointed out that there are items that need to be carefully considered, such as the annual salary, because the numbers in circulation are incorrect.

In addition to the Messi-owned image rights division at FC Barcelona, there is also a new controversy surrounding the termination of the contract, meaning that the Argentine player has signed a contract with a clothing company, rather than Saint-Germain.
The newspaper pointed out that Messi would not go to Paris before getting the approval of his father, his agent and his lawyers for the Saint-Germain deal.
According to the French newspaper L’Equipe, Messi will fly from Barcelona to the Spanish island of Ibiza on Tuesday morning to hold a meeting with Paris officials to finalize the Argentine star deal with Saint-Germain.
With this, the level of anticipation for the fans of the French club continues, waiting for both sides to reach a full agreement.
