The manuscript on Albert Einstein, the famous physicist’s general relativity theory, sold for about $ 13 million at an auction in Paris the day before yesterday.

The document, which was put up for auction, was valued at between two and three million euros, but was sold for 11.6 million euros ($ 13.04 million) (excluding 10.2 million costs), and its rarity is a scientific work. Document, unlike the two documents they had in the previous two records.

This document is a 54-page manuscript written between 1913 and 1914 in Zurich, Switzerland by the famous German physicist Einstein and his associate and Swiss engineer Michael Pesso.

“Scientific documents signed by Einstein from this era and generally before 1919, are very rare,” Christie explained before the auction organized for Akut. Offers started with one and a half million euros, which quickly increased, and then the competition was limited to two bidders who participated over the phone, and each time increased to 200 thousand euros. It is not yet known what country the buyer is from. About 100 interested and collectors participated in the auction, but none of them participated in the auction.

In 1905, Einstein began working on the theory of general relativity in 1912, after specializing in the theory of relativity, which proved the equation of mass and energy.
