Sheikh Hamad said in two tweets on Twitter today, Friday, “What happened and is happening in Sudan is one of the first results of planning, coordination and cooperation between Israel and the Arab world, knowing that country, unfortunately. Al-Thani continued: “However, my goal here is not to convey the message, but to respect and support the will of the people, not to interfere in the imposition of our policies whether we succeed or fail. Our beliefs in others.”
Although he did not name the Arab country he speaks of, Jasim’s speech is consistent with a significant reconciliation between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, which signed a peace agreement in September 2020 and intensified bilateral relations in several areas.

But his office said he was still in “heavy custody” and that several ministers and political leaders were being held in unknown locations.
