Health and Social Security Minister Khalid Aid al-Talib supported the imposition of a vaccine permit, which, according to him, led to an increase in the number of people vaccinated against the virus.

He said the decision to impose the passport was in line with a government mandate declaring a state of emergency last year and giving officials the right to take exceptional measures to protect public health.
