Samsung has officially announced the W22 5G phone, the premium version of which Galaxy Z Fold3.
Before the release of the Galaxy Z Flip, the company showed the series’ unopened glamshell phone with Android number plates. But W-Series foldable phones are not in the same sense as the Galaxy Z Fold 3, which uses a flexible foldable screen to convert the 6.2-inch screen to a 7.6-inch tablet. In contrast, the W series phones were Android phones that could not be opened.
Also starting in 2019 with the W20 5G, the company made a big change in the lineup. The W series phone of the year was the upgraded Galaxy Fold phone with high durability, Snapdragon 855+ chipset and support for 5G technology.
Likewise, last year’s W21 5G was an advanced Galaxy Z Fold 2 with a slightly higher configuration, two SIM slots and a distinctive-looking gold with vertical stripes.
“Elegant and precise combination,” the company says on its website. “The inside of the hinge is neatly built and the exterior metalwork is solid.”
Among its promotional products, the Samsung W22 takes pride in the 5G’s craftsmanship and sleek design. It also has a black engraved gold spine. The Heart to the World logo is also in gold, according to the Arab Technology News Portal.

With the same specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the W22 5G is equipped with a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED external display with a resolution of 832 x 2268 pixels and an update rate of 120 Hz. From the inside, the device reveals a 7.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1768 x 2208 pixels and an update rate of 120 Hz. The phone runs on Android 11 based One UI 3.1 user interface.
The phone is powered by a Samsung Semiconductor factory-made Snapdragon 888 processor using a 5nm process terminal, and it also supports the S Pen.
It features an IPX8 rating for water resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint reader and stereo speakers.
