With the support of Sheikh Mansour bin Saeed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Central Bank, the activities of the “Future of the Financial System” Conference kicked off today, Wednesday, at the headquarters of “Expo 2020 Dubai”.
The two-day conference, organized by the Central Bank, aims to shape the future of the financial sector with the participation of central bank governors and representatives of government agencies, as well as other key figures and leaders in the sector. Organized as part of Expo 2020 Dubai, the conference will focus on five key themes: “The impact of digital transformation and collaboration between central banks, particularly on digital currencies, payments, green funding, Islamic finance, and national payment systems strategy.
