The glass elevator that takes you to the top of a skyscraper gives you a whole new experience of seeing New York City.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Described as the “world’s fastest surveillance experience” … where is it located?

New York’s new observation deck has a fully covered glass elevator that travels over 1,200 feet, with clear glass cabinets and a room completely covered with glass.

The latter is part of the newly announced “Air” installation, designed by artist Kenzo Digital.

“The excitement surrounding Summit One Vanderbilt is overwhelming,” said Mark Holliday, president and CEO of SL Green, a Manhattan real estate investment trust.

“Once we are finally able to provide an insight into the amazing multi-level, multi-room art experience, people will begin to understand how different this goal is from anywhere else in the world,” he added.

Visitors can ride on a glass elevator that moves out of the building and offers spectacular views, or enjoy a set of transparent boxes levitating out of the tower, leaving guests standing at 1,063 feet in the air.

“We are delighted to welcome New Yorkers and visitors to enjoy this unique destination at the center of Manhattan, which is connected to Grand Central Station,” the holiday adds.

“People will want to see Summit One Vanderbilt again and again,” he said.

Both locations are part of a 65,000-square-foot entertainment and surveillance site located on top of a Vanderbilt, a $ 3.3 billion project designed by architectural firm Cone Peterson Fox Associates.

When the plan was first unveiled in May, NYC & President and CEO Fred Dixon, the organizer behind the “NYC Revaccans” summer campaign, said he hopes to promote tourism in the city.

“New York City will be energetic this fall, and Summit One Vanderbilt is a great addition to local and visitor attractions,” Dixon said in a statement.

The surveillance site test is set to begin a few weeks after the 30-meter-high rear wheel was removed and temporarily installed in the middle of Times Square, attracting thousands of people a day.

Tickets for the Summit One Vanderbilt experience are on sale before opening next month, with prices starting at $ 39 for adults.
