Smart glasses from “Xiaomi” with the functionality of the smartphone

The Chinese “Xiaomi” has introduced its new smart glasses, which, according to the company, seek to integrate all the functions of the “smartphone” into “a device we can wear”.

Five days after Facebook and Ray-Ban announced their smart glasses, the Chinese company unveiled its smart glasses on Tuesday.

Chinese electronics company has released a promotional video showing stylish sunglasses designed with a total of 497 parts, including miniature sensors and communication units.

Users can take pictures at the push of a button, view notifications on lenses, and view project-enhanced reality (AR) images on real-world images.

However, Xiaomi has not yet announced the release date or price of its smart glasses.

Xiaomi glasses are designed like regular glasses, but are packed with various components that allow users to perform a variety of tasks.

Smart glasses display messages and announcements, make calls, navigate, take pictures and translate text directly into lenses.

According to the manufacturer, the glasses have a screen built into one of the lenses, a 0.13-inch monochrome panel with micro LED technology, which offers “longer life with higher pixel density and simpler structure compared to OLED”.

The screen measures 2.4 x 2.02 mm; The size of the rice grain, the individual pixels are 4 micrometers in size, which allows the screen to fit exactly inside the glass frame. Despite the built-in camera with 5 megapixel sensor, battery, processor, Bluetooth and WiFi, it weighs only 51 grams.

According to “Russia Today”, the Chinese company has chosen a super-efficient monochrome display that allows users to see content even in sunlight, which can reach a peak brightness of two million luminos, but its light does not shine as soon as it reaches the eyes.

The camera is located in the right corner of the mirror. When the wearer presses a small button on the side to take a photo, it is immediately uploaded on his attached smartphone.

The glasses also include a microphone for making calls and speakers, allowing the user to hear the person on the other end.
