At the end of the concert, the avatars of the band members performed a song, and then images of the four avatars appeared on the screen with the “KISS” logo and the phrase “The beginning of a new era”.
One of the American band’s most famous songs was “I Was Made for Loving You”, and it was known for its atmosphere on stage and the use of exquisite makeup by its members. During its 50-year career, the band has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, according to Pop House Entertainment.
Of its founding members, only singer Paul Stanley (age 71) and guitarist Gene Simmons (age 74) are still alive.
Through the avatars on display, the band members look like superheroes themselves, the Swedish company said, “in one of the many and varied scenes the band members will appear as digital artists through their avatars.”
ILM, founded by George Lucas, produced these digital films.
“We will be forever young and creative, reaching places we never dreamed of,” Simons was quoted as saying, adding, “This technology will allow Paul Stanley to jump higher than normal.”
Pop House Entertainment previously completed a show in London for the band ABBA, whose members were represented by digital avatars.
Due to the great success of the show, it was decided for the band to perform other such new concerts, while the possibility of including them in other countries is being considered.
