Only 14 days to go until the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on… Climate change “COP28”, the equivalent of 336 hours, has begun the countdown to the climate summit activities to be held at Expo City Dubai in the Emirates from November 30 to December 12 with the participation of representatives from countries around the world. More than 70 thousand participants, including heads of state and governments and ministers, and non-governmental organizations from civil society, the private sector and indigenous peoples.
The UAE is expected to play a leadership role in facilitating consensus among all stakeholders to develop a clear roadmap to accelerate the achievement of an orderly, just and responsible transition.
