Jamie Spears, the father of American singer Britney Spears, agreed Thursday to release his daughter’s bodyguard, giving her the right to dispose of her property.
Pop star Britney Spears’ lawyer has announced that her father Jimmy Spears has agreed to drop his daughter’s affairs after a long hiatus.
“We are pleased that Mr Spears and his lawyer have now agreed in court to remove him from that role,” said attorney Matthew Rosenkat.
Spears, who has been controlling his daughter’s affairs since she suffered from her daughter’s mental illness in 2008, has agreed to resign from custody in a document filed in court today.
The pop star has been trying for months to get out of his father’s custody, and the court plans to hear his application in Los Angeles in late September.
In July, the judge rejected Britney Spears’ request to remove her father’s legal protection.
Spears has asked a Los Angeles court to remove her father’s legal protection against her, who has ruled her life for 13 years.
In a long and emotional speech, she said: “I want to end this defense without a rating. This guard will do me more harm than good. I deserve to take my life.”
It is noteworthy that a judicial guardian is a court-appointed guardian who can no longer make decisions for themselves, usually the elderly and the infirm, but critics have argued that this process can be exploited and cited. For example, darts.
