Google has released a new version of the system Android Auto Google is rolling out version number 10.6 through the Play Store, which brings a new feature to the Car platform, including a new “Disconnect” button that lets users quickly end their connections to nearby wireless devices. Report provided by 9to5Google.
This new button was discovered by users using the latest stable version. This feature has been released for limited testing and is not yet available to all users. The report indicates that the feature is more widely available to users using the latest beta version of Android Auto. .
Apart from this button, the latest version doesn’t add any new features, but there are many bug fixes and stability improvements.
Android auto disconnect button
A new disconnect button allows Android Auto users to end a connection to an Android Auto wireless device, including devices like the Switch or a car with wireless support.
This button will enable users to terminate the Android Auto wireless session, without this button users will have to enable Airplane mode or physically disconnect the adapter.
This is also a useful option if you have two people in the same car using wireless Android Auto and want to switch users.
Google is working on developing new features for the Android automotive operating system, as the tracking system is pre-installed on select cars from manufacturers like Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Honda, Polestar, Renault and Volvo.
