The Ruler of Sharjah witnesses the launch of the International Forum for Arabic Language Teachers

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah witnessed the launch of the Second International Forum for Arabic Language Teachers in collaboration with the Sharjah Private Education Authority yesterday morning. Sharjah Education Academy, under the motto “Roots and Innovation”, the Academy’s headquarters are located in University City.

Chairman of Sharjah Private Education Authority and Chairman of Sharjah Education Academy Dr. Muhadithah Al Hashemi affirmed that the forum brings together elite teachers for the benefit of students, with academics agreeing that he is a talented teacher. Arabic is interested in it and makes it a language of life and innovation is one of the most important tools to ensure the improvement of students’ products.

The Chairman of Sharjah Private Education Authority and the Chairman of Sharjah Education Academy concluded his speech by saying: Sharjah Private Education Authority is implementing the standardized test for Arabic language this year. Measure student achievement levels relative to national and regional levels to support efforts to improve achievement levels.

The Sharjah Private Education Authority also announced the launch of the “Arab Covenant” for private sector schools in Sharjah to encourage teachers of Arabic and its subjects, their heads of departments and students to be interested in discourse and the Arabic language. Love and belonging.

The Ruler of Sharjah and the audience watched a video presentation titled “Long Live Language”, which highlighted the importance of the Arabic language and its ancient history and Sharjah’s interest in Arabic and its literature.

In his speech, Dr. Ahmad Safi Al Mosteghanemi, Secretary General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, praised the efforts of the Emirate of Sharjah to focus on the Arabic language through several initiatives, special forums and programs.

Al-Jaziya Ahmad Al-Jaabi and Sham Baqour, two students, presented a talk on “Arabic originality and pride” in which they discussed the importance of observing and studying Arabic and the benefits of reading.

The audience followed a visual presentation that documented the experience of students visiting a public library in Sharjah with their teacher and the impact left by great scholars of the Arabic language and their efforts to enrich it.

A group of male and female teachers from the “Lizan Al-Dath” group formed by the Sharjah Private Education Authority performed “Ahd Al-Arabiya” in the high presence of the Ruler of Sharjah, who was eager to greet them. To exchange friendly conversations with them about their endeavors and work of the Committee.

Before the opening ceremony, the Ruler of Sharjah visited an exhibition on the side of the forum where he listened to a presentation on the Arabic language and its literature by a large number of students from private schools in Sharjah.

Many students recited selected poems about love for the motherland, explained the efforts of the ruler of Sharjah in educating children, and urged them to focus on and study Arabic.

The two-day forum (yesterday and today) included 7 dialogue sessions and 32 applied workshops on specialty development, building professional communities and reviewing best practices in teaching the Arabic language and its subjects.

Forum participants will discuss five main axes: “Human Development Axis”, Issues and Perspectives in Teaching Arabic and its Subjects, “Best Practices in Teaching Arabic and its Subjects” axis and “Model Classes” axis, which includes the performance of development workshops and leaders’ educational groups. Development includes and teachers and the “student creativity” theme, which includes realistic depictions of school classes at various levels.
