Chinese company Realmy announced on Tuesday that it will release its first laptop, the Realmy Book, on August 18 in China at 3pm local time.
On the same day, Chinese phone maker Realme will launch the Realme GT series in India, and it is not clear whether Realme Book will be announced in the company’s largest market at present or exclusively in China initially.
While Realmy has not yet revealed the specifications of its first laptop, it has been revealed that its leaked and official images will be similar to Apple’s MacBook Air notebook.
As expected, the RealMe Book laptop will pack a 2K display with a 3: 2 aspect ratio and will be powered by an 11th generation Intel Core i5 processor.
The Realmy Book laptop comes in a variety of colors, with blue being an option, and a fingerprint scanner built into the power button.
The RealMe Book 3: 2 comes with an aspect ratio and a slim body design. The screen of this version has thin bezels and the Realmy logo appears below. The laptop is similar to Apple’s MacBook Air and some of Hawaii’s Windows devices.
It has two USB-C ports on the left, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-A port on the right, and one port is expected to support USB PD device charging.
The RealMe Book laptop has a 14-inch FHD LED screen with a 3: 2 aspect ratio, and supports the device with a Realmy aluminum metal design.
The device comes with two speakers at the bottom of the Realme book, and also shows a large size cutout to cool the device.
The device is expected to launch with the Windows 10 operating system, and the Chinese company Realme has not yet confirmed the price of the book, but a report pointed out that the device is expected to be priced at (538.59 USD).
