The ceremony was attended by Ahmad Darwish Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Charity Department, Executive Director General and Department Directors, Leaders and Advisors.
During his speech, Ahmad Darwish Al Muhairi appreciated the support that the youth workforce receives from the country wise leadership for empowerment and sustainability. He pointed out that the department is working hard to achieve the strategy of empowering the youth in all sectors and improving their skills. Providing them with training opportunities and appointing them to managerial positions.
He stressed that the nation’s youth are the pillar of the future and have the potential to bring about positive change in society. future generations.
Al-Muhairi called on the youth to adhere to religious and social values and national identity, and suggested translating ideas into initiatives that serve the common good.
Two of the employees of the department presented their experiences from the reality of work in the department and how they were qualified and empowered, which gave them a motivation to pursue the path of work and sustainability.
For his part, Shihab Al-Hashemi, one of the influencers of social media channels, presented several challenges and solutions about sustainability and the role of youth in it, and the Arab Youth Council on Climate Change. A third challenge is not to link sustainability to jobs, but to acquire green skills for young people, the skills needed to adapt products, services and processes to climate change.
