Belgium succeeded Jasper Phillipson Danish champion Jonas Vengegaard clings to the yellow jersey and leads the general standings after finishing the eleventh stage in first place, his fourth victory in the 110th edition of the Tour de France.

The 25-year-old Belgian won the third, fourth and seventh stages of this edition, and he raised his total score to 6 victories in the famous French Tour, in which he participates for the fourth time (he did not finish the 2019. Edition and ranks 109 and 91 in 2021 and 2022).

As in his first three wins, Philipsen was once again fastest in the sprint stages, this time the 180km between Clermont-Ferrand and Moulins, outpacing Dutchman Dylan Groeneween and the German’s final pace. Phil Bauhaus.

Wenghard finished eighteenth, 17 seconds behind Phillipson, but he lost no seconds in the general standings as his Slovenian pursuer Tadi Bogachar came in at the same time as Australian Guy Hindley III in twentieth. He was ranked twenty-fourth at the same time.

The riders return to the mountain stages on Thursday as they enter the twelfth stage, which stretches 169km (medium climb) from Moulins to Belleville-en-Beaujolais.
