Actor Ahmed Malik reveals his participation in the British series “Boiling Point”.
Egyptian actor Ahmed Malik completed his first experiences in English drama with the series “Bowelling Point” a few days ago.
In an interview with “The New Arab”, Malek said that he was “very happy with his experience in this series”, explaining that “the experience of working in Britain was new to him” and that it was “not his first international participation”.
He indicated that the final scenes of the project have recently been completed and will be shown on the Netflix platform and the BBC.
Malek will play a waiter at a restaurant where most of the series takes place, but he didn’t want to divulge any more details.
The Egyptian actor recently confirmed that he did not participate in local work because he was interested in filming a British series, “which required a lot of preparations and the shooting took almost 5 months.”
The series continues the events of the movie of the same name released in 2021 and continues through 5 episodes, and deals with the story of chef Andy who fights with his team on the busiest day of the year.
The series picks up 6 months after the events of the film, and follows Carly, Andy’s assistant, who runs her own restaurant and deals with difficult tasks assigned to her.
The series co-stars Ray Pantagii, Gary Lamont, Das Skyler, and Daniel Larke, and is co-directed by Philippe Parandini and Lebanese Monia Acl.
Malik’s last artistic appearance was the American film “The Two Swimmers”, which won several awards and was directed by Sali Al-Hussaini, starring Kinda Alloush and Ali Sulaiman.
