Al Tayer touched on the “Green Charger for Electric Vehicles” initiative launched by DEWA in 2015 to encourage the purchase of electric vehicles, the authority has installed more than 370 green charger stations across the Emirate of Dubai, and the authority aims to reach 1,000 stations. For its part, representatives of the World Smart and Sustainable Cities Organization praised DEWA’s sustainability and shift towards renewable and clean energy, supporting Dubai’s vision of being a smart and sustainable city.
